Calm & Condition® is a high calorie/energy feed for horses and ponies that need to put on or maintain weight and condition. It is also ideal for harder working horses and some breeds of youngstock. Being whole cereal grain and molasses free it is higher in fibre and lower in starch and sugar than traditional conditioning feeds. The energy that Calm & Condition supplies comes from its high fibre and oil content which is an excellent source of slow release, stamina giving energy.

Fibre Plus Nuggets are chunky, high fibre cubes designed to be fed as a partial forage replacer to horses and ponies of all types at rest or in work. Their crunchy texture and natural fibre content ensure the horse has plenty to chew on and they are easily fed on the ground, or in boredom toys, to encourage natural foraging behaviour.
These low starch, low energy nuggets contain quality protein, mirroring levels found in grass hay, and have no added vitamins and minerals so should ideally be fed alongside additional forage sources and the recommended amount of a balancer or other compound feed, to ensure a fully balanced diet. With extracts of flavours of essential oils, Fibre Plus Nuggets are particularly palatable so are ideal for tempting fussy feeders or convalescents. -

Baileys No.14 Lo-Cal Balancer 20kg
Lo-Cal Balancer is a top specification nutrient-dense pelleted balancer, containing all a horse or pony needs for health and well-being, without the calories associated with a traditional mix or cube. Quality protein sources supply essential amino acids to build and repair muscle and other tissues, including tendons and hooves, while added linseed contributes essential Omega 3 fatty acids for supple skin and a super-shiny coat. Lo-Cal’s formula has been subtly amended to accomodate this, and the other improvements, which have no effect on the overall calorie (DE) content of the original LOw CALorie balancer!
Lo-Cal’s superior vitamin, mineral and antioxidant content supports good health and includes chelated minerals, which are more easily absorbed by the horse’s body. It has always contained health levels of biotin, alongside other nutrients known to encourage healthy hoof growth, and now biotin levels have been boosted to 30mg/kg (from 20mg/kg) to deliver those positively identified, by recognised research, of 3mg/100kg bodyweight/day ie. 15mg/500kg horse/day, just to be (even more) sure!

This non-heating mix was formulated to deliver similar benefits to Top Line Conditioning Cubes and is free from whole oats with cereals that have been micronised to make the starch content as digestible as possible. It is popular both for promoting condition and as a non-heating performance feed, being both particularly appetising and nutrient dense. Just like the cubes, Top Line Conditioning Mix contains quality protein and promotes outstanding muscle tone and top line and its concentrated formulation means it doesn’t have to be fed by the bucket full to get results.
Its blend of soya and linseed deliver a balance of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, supported by antioxidants, which benefit coat condition as well as supplying non-heating energy and promoting stamina.
